A brief insight into my soap making

A few photos to show how I make soap bars. I use the cold process method, which is a rather protracted but I prefer the finished product. I wrap the soaps in a towel and stack into crates. The allows the soap to breathe but also helps to retain the fragrance in the soap. It then takes between 4 and 6 weeks to cure, after which it is weighed, hand wrapped and labelled then, hey presto, it is ready for sale!
